Aunt Flow Releases 2024 Impact Report

This brand is making the world better for people with periods

COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Aunt Flow, the woman-founded and led company on a mission to ensure everyone has free access to period products, has released its 2024 Impact Report, highlighting a year of groundbreaking progress in advancing menstrual equity. The report underscores the company’s mission to ensure everyone can access high-quality period products in public spaces and comes at a time when recession and tariffs are impacting the cost of these necessities for women and girls.

Over the past year, Aunt Flow has hit milestones and broken records, making millions of pads and tampons available in public restrooms around the world.

Key highlights from the 2024 Impact Report include:

  • Increased Accessibility: Aunt Flow supplied over 34 million period products to institutions nationwide and donated over one million period products in 2024, surpassing seven million period products donated to menstruators in need since 2021. That’s enough pads to support 350,000 menstruating people for a full period!
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborations with schools and universities have strengthened menstrual equity initiatives, impacting over two million students with products stocked in 616 grade schools and 417 higher education organizations.
  • Sustainability Commitment: A continued focus on eco-friendly products, reduced plastic in packaging, and sustainable practices has reduced environmental waste and made OCS-certified organic and OEKO Tex-certified period products available to more people.
  • Policy Advocacy: Aunt Flow has supported the push by policymakers to make legislative changes to ensure period products are more accessible in public and private institutions. As these changes take shape in various states, Aunt Flow steps in to help organizations develop period programs to match. In 2024, survey results came back from efforts in Utah in 2023 that confirm that access to period products in K-12 institutions directly correlates to increased attendance and participation.
  • Product Innovations: In 2024, Aunt Flow launched a sanitary disposal system for facilities to help reduce flushed period products and improve safety for janitorial teams and restroom users, reducing their contact with bloodborne pathogens.

“Our 2024 Impact Report showcases the meaningful strides we have made in fighting period poverty,” said Claire Coder, Chief Estrogen Officer and founder of Aunt Flow. “We remain committed to breaking barriers and ensuring menstrual products are treated as a necessity, not a luxury, which feels more relevant now than ever before.”

Aunt Flow invites individuals, organizations, and policymakers to join in the movement toward menstrual equity. Aunt Flow products are available in all 50 states.
